Health Guarantee

Statement of Warranty:

The puppies offered by our establishment are warranted for a period of two years from the date of birth against any fatal or life-altering diseases that significantly impair the health of the puppy. This encompassing guarantee includes severe conditions such as hip dysplasia necessitating corrective surgery, as well as life-threatening afflictions affecting the kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver. In the unfortunate event of the puppy’s demise within this stipulated timeframe, the buyer shall bear the expense of an autopsy, and if the cause is determined to be congenital, the seller undertakes to provide a replacement puppy.
Our inventory of working, show, and breeding quality pups is accompanied by a guarantee assuring their freedom from serious infectious diseases, genetic anomalies, and congenital defects. Should a puppy contract a life-threatening infectious ailment, such as parvo, within the incubation period following its departure from the Florida Exotic Connection Kennel, and it can be reasonably attributed to our establishment, the buyer will be promptly offered a replacement pup of commensurate value and at their discretion. It is required that the buyer arranges for a veterinary examination of the puppy, including a fecal test for intestinal parasites, within 48 hours of acquisition, and submission of the vet’s report to the seller is imperative for the warranty to remain valid if Florida Exotic Connection does not receive a copy of the report with in the 30 days of the veterinarian visit the warranty will not be valid.
This warranty explicitly excludes coverage for non-life-threatening conditions, including but not limited to cherry eye, loose hips, skin allergies, elongated soft palate, stenotic nares, improper bite, demodex mange, inguinal or umbilical hernias. Furthermore, conditions potentially induced by stress during transportation or relocation to a new environment, such as coccidia, Giardia, or Kennel Cough, are not covered under this warranty.
A puppy exhibiting any serious genetic or congenital defect must manifest the anomaly by the age of two years, and the seller must be notified within two business days of the licensed veterinarian’s diagnosis. The buyer must furnish reports from two independent veterinarians concurring on the diagnosis. The seller assumes no responsibility for veterinary expenses, and no partial or full refund shall be issued. Returned puppies, aside from the specified ailment, must be in good condition at the buyer’s expense to qualify for a replacement.
Transportation expenses for replacement puppies are the responsibility of the buyer. This warranty is non-transferable and exclusively applies to the original puppy owner. Replacement will not be provided if the puppy has been bred, spayed, neutered, or euthanized without the seller’s consent. Both parties must agree on the replacement puppy, which may not necessarily be from the same parents but of equivalent quality and value. The seller reserves one year to effect replacements, acknowledging the requisite time for breeding, gestation, and rearing. Failure to provide a suitable replacement within this timeframe warrants a full refund.
Any physical issues attributable to injury are not covered under this warranty. Additionally, no assurance is given regarding the puppy’s suitability for showing or breeding, irrespective of its potential.
The seller guarantees the puppy as a healthy companion/pet and attests to the accuracy of the puppy’s pedigree to the best of their knowledge. The seller disclaims liability for any discrepancies or disputes regarding pedigree or DNA.
